Pozo Izquierdo wakes up for the summer

Seems like Pozo Izquierdo has definitely began to work consistently...

FORWARD LOOP Clinic at Pozo Izquierdo

The forward is the move every wndsurfer wants to learn. The clew to finish it is to know how it works and to do the right thing step by step. The most important things are the position of the rig and the right execution of the movement(s). Our clinic guides through all the steps. We have tried out and developed our way to teach in the last 2 years, everyone learns it following our method. We analize to understand and then we go step by step, it is not necesary to take risks. We know that this is the right way because of the results we got from our classes.

1st DAY:

• MORNING
  • Theoretical class: We analize videos, graphics and fotos to understand how the forward works.
  • Preparation: We get used to the spot and we do the last adjustments.
• AFTERNOON
  • „Dry“ training: We train the movements to get them automated.
  • We do exercises in the water and try the first rotations. We will film the action and analize it. The training will be organized like heats.

2nd DAY:

• MORNING
  • We repeat the most important things of the theoretical class with and train the movements.
  • Training session on the water filming and analysing, we will se the first rotations in our training-
    heats.
• AFTERNOON
  • Training session on the water filming and analysing, we will se the new forwards. We will have a meeting to analize each forward and how to improve them in the future.

New & improved Cutre harness lines

We´ve been years developing longer harness lines, from 22 to 36 to obtain more confort and performance while sailing with strong wind.

This year we´ve improved our harnes even more:

• New interior line: More resistant and light
• You also have the posibility to combine colours and lengths. A longer harness line to jump and a smaller to surf the waves (one of each color). This helps you with the control of your rig.

Good wave and wind conditions at Pozo

We´re having the normal conditions of february; some swell, clouds and rain. Typical of carnivals.

We hope that the conditions will be better than last year.

Conditions continue at Pozo

This morning when I woke up it was raining in Pozo! I don´t remember the last time that it rained here... Windguru is nailing the predictions; not very usuall in Pozo. It soon stopped raining. 

 Early in the morning I saw some people sailing with 4,2, not too much waves but you could notice that a little swell was hitting Pozo.  As usual the was not many people in the water. After my Spanish breakfast in El Viento, I rigged my 4,2 Loft PureLip  and went to the water. Tomorrow we are expecting even better conditions than today.

Some Pros from Cutre Team and Loft Sails Team started sailing. 

Omar was sailing with 4,2 Loft PureLip (Wave 360)

Nestor was sailing with 4,5  Loft PureLip (Shaka)

Sole was sailing overpowered with 4,0  Loft PureLip in the afternoon.

Omar breaks-in his new Loftsails at Pozo

Today Santa Claus has brought us some wind here at Pozo Izquierdo and Omar Sánchez, who just joined the Loftsails International Team, was able to break-in his new sails. He joined Néstor Macías, member of the local Loftsails Cutre Team, in the water for some fun.
